Vincent Kompany gives update on Jamal Musiala’s health condition

Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has reassured fans that Jamal Musiala is doing well, explaining that the midfielder’s recent collapses were caused by side effects from a change in treatment for his neurological condition rather than a new medical emergency.

Kompany spoke about the player’s condition while speaking ahead of Bayern’s Supercup clash with Borussia Dortmund. The Belgian revealed that the club has known about Musiala’s condition since last season and already has procedures in place to manage it.

He said,

“He changed some things in his treatment, and that had some side effects. That’s normal when you’re adjusting treatment.”

The Bayern coach added that he is “completely calm” about the situation and believes Musiala has made significant progress after last year’s serious injury.

Why is Musiala missing Bayern’s next game?

He will miss the Supercup to allow him time to adapt to the treatment changes and the public attention surrounding his diagnosis. Bayern expects him to continue individual training before returning to the squad.

Bayern Munich’s handling of the situation reflects confidence that Musiala’s absence will be temporary. With Kompany’s reassuring comments and the club’s structured recovery plan, supporters can expect one of football’s brightest talents to return once he has fully adjusted to his treatme

Bayern supporters will hope the German returns to full fitness as the season progresses.
