50 Most Anticipated TV Shows of Fall 2026

From Netflix’s latest “Monster” and “Cupertino” on CBS, to Prime Video’s “Carrie” and “East of Eden” on Netflix

September brings the start of the fall TV season, bringing some of the year’s best titles into viewers’ hands just as the weather starts to cool.

Broadcast networks will have their reliable slates of classic franchises like “Dancing With the Stars,” “The Voice” and “Hell’s Kitchen,” to anticipated new titles like CBS’ “Cupertino” and NBC’s “Line of Fire.” HBO brings back “The Gilded Age” for another round of society gossip, while Sharon Horgan presents her promising new comedy series “Youth.” Netflix introduces Zoe Kazan’s “East of Eden” and takes us back to the worlds of “A Different World” and “Victorious,” via the spinoff series “Hollywood Arts” — and keep an eye out for the platform’s new installment of “Monster,” centered on Lizzie Borden. And Prime Video ramps up its stream of tentpole shows with Mike Flanagan’s TV adaptation of “Carrie” and the limited series “Blade Runner 2099.” It’s an embarrassment of TV riches in the next three months, so sit back and start bingeing.
