Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has tendered an open apology to a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos after disrupting judicial proceedings during an earlier appearance. The screen star fell on her knees before the presiding judge and gave assurances that such conduct would not happen again.

Despite her plea in the courtroom, she was returned to Kirikiri Correctional Centre to await the decision on her freedom. The court deferred its ruling on her bail application until November 6, according to Punch.

Ogala is currently facing legal prosecution over allegations that include cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and attempted extortion. The charges brought against the movie practitioner are connected to cleric Pastor Chris Okafor.

The actress has been an active figure in the Nigerian movie industry, featuring in several home videos and gaining widespread attention across social media platforms. Her ongoing legal battle has continued to draw interest among Nollywood followers and industry observers.

She will stay in detention at the Kirikiri facility until the judge delivers the ruling on her bail request on the scheduled November date.
