A new sportsbook and casino brand, ChampBet, has officially begun operations in Nigeria, presenting itself as West Africa's pioneer lifestyle gaming platform.
The company is rolling out its service with a series of social events across Lagos nightlife venues, according to Punch. The launch activities kick off on Friday, 6 November, at Zaza Lagos and BOHO Lagos, before wrapping up on Sunday, 8 November, at LuLu Beach Club.
Targeted at upscale sports fans and gaming enthusiasts, the platform covers major football competitions, including the Nigeria Premier Football League, the English Premier League, and the UEFA Champions League. Alongside sports fixtures, the operator offers access to over 18,000 casino titles created by more than 130 studios, as well as live dealer tables streamed in real time.
ChampBet enters the market under full regulatory oversight. The brand has been licensed by the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority and has received a Universal Reciprocity Gaming Permit from the Federation of State Gaming Regulators of Nigeria.
A spokesperson for the company explained that the brand was created to connect sports passion with style and entertainment. The representative noted that Nigerians approach football, social life, and gaming with equal energy, creating a demand for a platform that reflects that lifestyle.
The service also features a dedicated loyalty programme known as the Champions Club, which includes five levels offering benefits such as weekly cashback of up to 10% and various offline perks. For convenience, the platform supports naira transactions through bank transfers, debit cards, USSD, and mobile wallets.
The brand has stated that its gaming services are restricted to users aged 18 and older, with player protection tools provided on its website to encourage responsible gambling.
