Arsenal remain top of the Premier League table with 24 points after nine rounds of fixtures, holding a three-point cushion over defending champions Manchester City.

According to RG.org, the Gunners enter Matchday 10 in commanding form, having recorded four straight league victories. Mikel Arteta's side has maintained a tight defensive record this season, letting in only five goals across their first nine matches. Their recent run includes narrow wins such as a 1-0 result against Liverpool, a 2-0 victory over Everton, a 1-0 win away at Nottingham Forest, and a 2-1 result against Leeds United.

Manchester City sit second on 21 points with a record of seven wins and two defeats. Pep Guardiola's squad has stumbled recently, dropping points in back-to-back league outings. They suffered a 1-0 loss against Brighton and fell 2-1 away to Aston Villa. Despite the team's dip in form, striker Erling Haaland remains at the top of the league's scoring charts with nine goals so far.

City travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest in their next match. Forest are currently 19th in the standings, having recorded just one win and six goals in nine outings. They are winless in their last five fixtures and have dealt with late October injury concerns surrounding attackers Dan Ndoye and Igor Jesus.

Elsewhere in the competition, Brighton boast the strongest goal difference in the division at plus-17, having scored 24 times and conceded seven. They have managed clean sheets in five of their last six matches, a stretch that includes their 1-0 triumph over Manchester City.

The upcoming round of fixtures begins on Friday with Everton hosting Coventry City, before concluding on Sunday with Manchester United welcoming an in-form Aston Villa side to Old Trafford.
