Manchester City are set to continue their Premier League title chase this Saturday evening when they take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
The fixture brings together two sides at opposite ends of the table, with second-placed City looking to keep pace at the top, while Forest sit second from bottom, according to Sports Mole. The hosts are managed by Oliver Glasner and are dealing with serious problems in attack ahead of the clash.
Even so, Forest could fancy their chances against a vulnerable Manchester City backline. The visitors have conceded 14 goals in their last seven fixtures across all competitions, leaving them far less solid than usual.
The last encounter between both sides took place at the Etihad Stadium in March and finished in a 2-2 draw. Elliot Anderson struck a late leveller for Forest on that day before he completed a transfer to Manchester City during the summer window.
City will also have an eye on early action in North London, where league leaders Arsenal host Hull City at the Emirates Stadium. A victory for Mikel Arteta's side would temporarily stretch their lead at the summit to six points following their recent win over Liverpool, putting added pressure on City ahead of the evening kickoff.
Other fixtures lined up for the weekend include Tottenham Hotspur visiting Elland Road to face Leeds United in the early game. Tottenham drew 1-1 against Leeds in their last encounter in May, where Mathys Tel found the net before Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalised from the penalty spot.
Fulham will also welcome Newcastle United to Craven Cottage on Saturday. Fulham, now managed by Alvaro Arbeloa, won 2-0 against Newcastle in their final match of last season, while Newcastle boss Matthias Jaissle is hoping to turn around a difficult stretch of results.
