Arsenal will look to strengthen their position at the summit of the Premier League when they welcome Hull City to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. Mikel Arteta's side head into the clash knowing a win would push them six points clear at the top before their closest challengers take to the pitch later in the day.

The Gunners returned to the driving seat in the title race following an impressive victory over Liverpool, according to Sports Mole. Hull City, meanwhile, arrive in London enduring a difficult run of form, having played out a 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town in their ninth league fixture of the season.

Title contenders Manchester City will also be in action on Saturday evening as they travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest. Pep Guardiola’s side sit second in the standings and face an opponent currently lingering second from bottom under manager Oliver Glasner.

City will need to address recent defensive concerns after conceding 14 goals across their past seven fixtures in all competitions. The match also holds extra significance after Elliot Anderson, who scored a late equaliser for Forest in a 2-2 draw against City in March, completed a major transfer to the Manchester outfit in the summer.

Earlier on Saturday, Tottenham Hotspur make the trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United in the lunchtime kickoff. The previous encounter between the two clubs in May finished 1-1 in North London, where Mathys Tel's first-half strike was cancelled out by a Dominic Calvert-Lewin penalty. Leeds have seen low-scoring outcomes in seven of their nine league matches so far this season.

Elsewhere, Fulham take on Newcastle United at Craven Cottage in a battle between two sides in the bottom half of the table. Fulham won the fixture 2-0 when the teams met in West London in May, with Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle eager to stop a troubling run of form against Alvaro Arbeloa's resilient hosts.
