Nigerian relationship therapist and social media influencer Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of her nine-year-old son, Bryan. She revealed that she remains in shock and fears she may never fully recover from the heartbreaking loss.
In an emotional message posted on her Instagram page, the media personality reflected on her grief and the unfulfilled promises she made to the boy. According to Punch, she shared that she eventually purchased the bicycle and iPad she had promised him, expressing deep sadness that she could not present them to him in person.
Describing her son, Blessing CEO highlighted his kindness, intelligence, and outspoken character, stating that she believes he is resting in heaven. She added that she would carry his memory wherever she goes, describing the child as her guardian angel while grappling with the emptiness left behind in her home.
The public tribute comes shortly after she granted an emotional interview recounting the circumstances surrounding the boy's passing. She disclosed that before his death, Bryan had actually dreamt of his own passing and shared the vision with his brother Darell, her sister Precious, and her father, though he never told her directly.
Blessing CEO further explained that she was in custody when she discovered her son was relying on two inhalers before his condition deteriorated. She received the devastating news that he had passed away in a hospital around 6:30 am on a Monday morning.
The influencer returned home after being granted bail in late October following months in custody over separate alleged fraud charges. She stated that the heartbreaking news overshadowed any relief from her release, adding that she is striving to stay strong and make her late son proud despite battling feelings of guilt.
