Ivorian rap star Didi B has joined forces with Nigerian music heavyweight Davido on a brand-new collaboration titled Party. The song arrived on Friday, 6 November 2026, serving as one of the standout offerings from the rapper's extensive new body of work, according to Voxtrendy.
The record is placed as track 12 on Didi B’s 23-song mixtape, titled Shogun in Lagos. The project was rolled out via REPAT Agency alongside distribution handled by Sony Music Entertainment.
Music producer Yung Alpha took charge behind the boards, crafting a sound that combines elements of Afrobeats, Afro-rap, and Amapiano. On the track, Davido delivers a melodic hook that anchors the chorus, while Didi B injects sharp rap bars to create a seamless crossover between the urban music hubs of Abidjan and Lagos.
The collaboration adds further weight to Shogun in Lagos, an ambitious cross-continental project that showcases several other notable African stars. Among the guest acts on the tape are Nigerian heavyweights Phyno, Zlatan, and Young Jonn, alongside South African artist Focalistic.
Davido’s contribution on Party comes shortly after his recent outing alongside American R&B singer Victoria Monét on the song Offa Me. Over the years, the Nigerian hitmaker has built a rich discography featuring celebrated albums like Timeless, 5ive, and his 2026 release Oriadé, alongside classic anthems such as Aye.
Meanwhile, Didi B continues to expand his presence beyond Francophone territory into Anglophone markets. The Ivorian rapper previously worked with artists like 6uff on Gaou la, as well as collaborating with acts such as Qing Madi and Jux.
