Nestlé Nigeria Plc has named Toritseju Egbebi as its new Corporate Communications and Sustainability Manager, effective November 1, 2026. She steps into the position following the retirement of Victoria Uwadoka, who spent ten years driving public relations and community initiatives for the food and beverage giant.

The consumer goods manufacturer confirmed the leadership transition in a statement released in Lagos, according to Peoples Gazette Nigeria. Egbebi, who previously served as the company's corporate affairs manager, brings 18 years of professional experience across public relations and corporate communications. Her career spans key sectors including technology, financial services, and fast-moving consumer goods.

During her time with the company, Egbebi has handled public affairs, reputation management, and stakeholder partnerships. She has also worked on the Nestlé for Good platform, raising awareness around the firm's commitments to environmental sustainability, healthier nutrition, and community welfare.

Uwadoka leaves the organisation after a decade of leading public engagement and its Creating Shared Value agenda. Her work covered critical areas such as water stewardship, youth empowerment, agricultural development, nutrition, and environmental responsibility. Beyond her corporate assignments, she was also active in mentoring professionals and advocating for higher standards in Nigeria's wider communications industry.

Wassim Elhusseini, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Nigeria, commended the outgoing manager for her leadership and dedication over the past ten years. He noted that the company remains grateful for her contributions to both the business and the PR profession, while wishing her well in her future endeavours.

Elhusseini also expressed high confidence in Egbebi's capability to steer the communications portfolio forward. He stated that clear communication and strong stakeholder ties remain vital for building trust, adding that he expects her to demonstrate the positive impact of the business across Nigerian communities.
