Super Falcons star forward Asisat Oshoala has shown deep appreciation to her former coach by presenting him with a brand-new Toyota Highlander, according to Nigerian Voice.
The seasoned Nigerian international made the generous gesture to honour the mentor who played an influential part during the foundational stages of her football career. The presentation highlights her ongoing habit of giving back to those who nurtured her talent before she rose to global stardom.
Oshoala, who currently plies her club trade abroad after trophy-laden spells in Europe, has regularly maintained strong ties with her roots in Nigeria. The six-time African Women's Footballer of the Year winner frequently supports grassroots sports development through her charitable foundation, focusing on youth empowerment and girl-child education across Lagos and beyond.
Her rise from local pitches in Nigeria to the highest levels of global women's football remains an inspiring journey for young athletes across the country. Throughout her career, she has consistently acknowledged the guidance and early sacrifices of her local mentors in shaping her into a world-class competitor.
The gift of the sport utility vehicle serves as a direct acknowledgement of that early support, adding another chapter to the striker's track record of community goodwill and loyalty to her formative coaches.
