Speaking to Sky Sports, the former Liverpool defender stated that he expects Unai Emery’s side to claim a 2-1 win over United at Old Trafford, according to Daily Post Nigeria. The meeting marks one of the headline fixtures of the weekend as clubs return for another round of league action across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Carragher also delivered his views on several other crucial ties across the division. He expects table-toppers Arsenal to easily see off Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening, noting that Mikel Arteta's men should maintain their fine form after reaching the league summit last week.
In the other fixtures, Carragher expects Manchester City to return to winning form against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, while backing Liverpool to collect maximum points against Crystal Palace. He also projected a 2-1 away victory for Chelsea when they travel to face Sunderland on Sunday.
