Nigerian music heavyweights and fast-rising acts have rolled out a wave of new music, according to reports by music portal Vistanaij. Veteran rapper and music executive Olamide leads the fresh offerings with his new track titled "Burukutu."
Joining the release run is singer L.A.X, who teamed up with folk-soul singer DOTTi The Deity on a collaborative record named "IYAWO." Fast-rising singer FOLA has also put out a new single titled "awade," expanding his catalog with yet another record.
Beyond the established acts, several other artists added to the busy release cycle across streaming and download platforms. Tunesloaded highlighted that Chella has dropped a track titled "Jiggle," while Tiphe released "AGBOWA" and Choke Boi unveiled a single called "LONELY."
For Olamide, "Burukutu" continues an extensive career catalog that includes celebrated projects such as "Unruly," "UY Scuti," and his recent studio body of work "Ikigai / 生き甲斐, Vol. 1." The YBNL Nation founder has remained consistently active, delivering chart-topping collaborations and solo work for over a decade.
FOLA has similarly maintained a steady output of music, following previous records such as his collaboration with Zlatan titled "Get Better" and his 2026 project "9." His latest single adds to a busy period where he has also worked alongside artists like Victony and BhadBoi OML.
L.A.X’s partnership with DOTTi The Deity introduces a fresh blend of styles following his earlier music releases under Rasaki Music. With multiple acts serving fresh cuts at the same time, Nigerian music audiences have a wide range of new sounds to enjoy.
