Karela United FC will seek a crucial win when they welcome Vision FC to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Friday, November 6, 2026. The match serves as the opening fixture for Matchday 10 of the domestic league season, according to the Ghana Football Association.
Both teams enter the encounter locked on 10 points from nine games, with each side looking to turn around an indifferent start to the 2026/27 campaign. Karela United sit in 15th place on the table after picking up three wins, one draw, and five defeats. They have registered eight goals and conceded 11 so far, coming off a goalless draw in their previous outing against Young Apostles.
Despite their general struggles, the Pride of the North will rely on their solid home form in Tamale. Karela United have recorded all three of their league victories this season on home turf, winning three and losing only once in four home matches. Furthermore, they remain unbeaten at home against the Tema-based side in two previous meetings, with one win and one draw.
Vision FC currently sit in 13th place on the standings, sharing the same points tally with their hosts but boasting a better goal record, having scored 11 and conceded 11. Over their last five league games, the visitors have managed one win, two draws, and two losses. They head into this fixture following a 0-0 stalemate against newly promoted Port City FC last weekend.
Away form may offer encouragement to Vision FC, who have won once, drawn once, and lost twice in four road trips this season. They have shown considerable attacking power away from home by scoring seven goals while letting in nine. Notably, the Tema club have found the back of the net in every single away match they have played this league campaign.
